Daycare school age site director

South-East Asia Center’s Bridge International School seeks a school-age site director. The position involves administrative duties and teaching Bridge-approved curriculum, helping students with homework, maintaining pedagogically appropriate classroom, etc.

Qualifications
BA or MA in Education, with 18 semester hours in courses related to child care and/or child development, elementary education, or other related fields, including courses related to school-age children.

The ideal candidate would have this (required) education, several years of teaching experience, and a strong social-science background.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Registered Nurse (FT or PT): Be part of a team of educators, social workers and medical staff to run a small, and growing adult day care targeting Southeast Asian and other immigrants. Work in a colorful port of entry neighborhood and in a beautiful ADC setting in an historic former German tavern. Work with caring staff and grateful clients.

Adult day services address the promotion of cognitive, emotional and physical health of seniors in need of maintenance of independence and mainstream life. This position involves development of plan of care, physical activity planning and implementation, routine physical checkups, dietary oversight, health talks as well as involvement with emotional, and cognitive needs of a variety of clients from various cultural backgrounds, plus case note keeping and preparing and submitting timely reports – all coordinated with a small collegial staff.

Position could be FT or PT (PT: Mon – Fri, any 3 hours between 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM).

Adult ESL Coordinator

Make a real impact. Help adult immigrants learn English which in turn helps them to have a productive life and to become citizens.

Coordinator will recruit students and volunteer tutors, teach classes, prepare and submit reports and program proposal on a timely basis, ensure compliance of program rules and requirements.

Must have credentials and/or experience in teaching ESL to adults. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, reading and writing skills, outgoing and engaging personality, flexibility, self starter, meticulousness, cross-cultural diplomacy, able to work on Saturdays, ability to work with different age groups are musts.

Fluency in Vietnamese or Cantonese a strong plus. BA, MA or Ph.D. in TESOL, TEFL, ESL, English education, linguistics or equivalent required.

Administrator of Senior Programs

In this position full-time position you will oversee the development and management of Senior Programs including, but not limited to Adult Day Services, In-Home Services, Congregate Dining Program, Child and Adult Food Program, ESL Program, Title V Senior Aide Program and IDOT Senior Transportation Program.

Requirements:

** MA in social services, social sciences, health, education or other related fields

** Cantonese or Vietnamese proficiency

** Experiences working with immigrant seniors

** Ability to interpret and implement funders’ rules and regulations

** Ability to handle multiple priorities

** Excellent written and verbal communications as well as leadership skills

Position:
Network administrator for windows 2016 environment
familiar with configuring routers/switches
Can set up voice-over-IP phone system (with free PBX)
Assorted IT tasks in small office environment: setting up printers, troubleshooting computer issues, light programming duties, etc.

Requirements:
Degree in computer science (preferred)
2-3yrs network experience (preferred)
Friendly attitude, flexibility to tackle diverse job assignments, available to work some overtime
