Using the Local Library During COVID-19 Pandemic

South-East Asia Center ESL volunteer Michael and our ESL program director Jeanine partnered with the Branch Manager of the Chicago Bezazian Public Library in Uptown to explain safety precautions in use at the library during the COVID-19 pandemic.

– There is always an element of risk when handling items that have been handled by other people.

– The steps taken by the library are designed to minimize risk.

– Reducing face-to-face interactions is the best option.

– If you have computer access at home consider using the library’s digital download option.
