We’re looking for a compassionate and, of course, responsible person to manage & get involved in our lively social services, adult day services, in-home services, Golden Diners, Adult Food Programs, ESL program, Title V Senior Aide Program, and IDOT Senior Transportation Program.
Do you have an MA or BA in human-social sciences, social services, liberal arts, health, RN, education, or public admin., or related fields? Enjoyment, experience, and empathy with immigrants and limited-English-speakers? Excellent written and verbal communications skills? Can you also interpret and implement funders’ rules and regulations? Management, leadership experience? Comfortable with bureaucracy? Open to new ideas and approaches. Accountable, reliable, honest, flexible and willing to go beyond the call of duty. Familiarity with S.E. Asian cultures or Cantonese or Vietnamese proficiency a plus.
Compensation depends on the above criteria, educational background, and work experience ($45K to $65K) and job duties you are able to perform. Paid sick/personal/ vacation days and holidays.
