This position ensures that services are delivered efficiently, funding is managed responsibly, and internal systems support both staff and the communities we serve. This role blends financial management, program operations, and data-informed decision-making to strengthen organizational capacity and community impact.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasks and Responsibilities:<\/strong><br \/>\nFinancial &amp; Programmatic Coordination<br \/>\nCoordinate financial management for grant-funded community programs, including budget development, expenditure monitoring, and financial reporting.<br \/>\nEnsure strict compliance with the Illinois Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) and applicable state and city funding and DCFS licensing requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Maintain program-level fund accounting records in accordance with nonprofit accounting standards and donor-specific guidelines.<br \/>\nConduct financial forecasting and operational analyses to support sustainable community service delivery and long-term program planning.<br \/>\nDevelop, document, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to strengthen community program delivery and administrative workflows.<br \/>\nMonitor organizational adherence to U.S. and Illinois labor laws, nonprofit regulations, and internal policy standards.<\/p>\n<p>Serve as a liaison between program staff, leadership, funders, and external partners to support coordinated and compliant service delivery.<br \/>\nManage programmatic and financial data systems to ensure accuracy, integrity, and audit readiness for government and private funders.<br \/>\nAnalyze program and financial data to identify trends and opportunities for operational improvement and fiscal sustainability.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>Education:<\/em><br \/>\nBachelor\u2019s degree or higher in Finance, Public Administration, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a closely related field required.<br \/>\nGraduate-level education (MA, MBA or similar) preferred, particularly in finance, public administration, or analytics-related disciplines.<\/p>\n<p><em>Specialized Knowledge &amp; Skills:<\/em><br \/>\nApplied understanding of nonprofit financial management and public administration principles.<br \/>\nExperience using data analysis and reporting tools to support operational and fiscal decision-making.<br \/>\nWorking knowledge of nonprofit accounting standards, grant compliance requirements and labor law compliance.<\/p>\n<p><em>Experience:<\/em><br \/>\nDemonstrated experience supporting grant-funded community programs or nonprofit administrative systems.<br \/>\nPrior experience in nonprofit finance, public administration, or community-based organizations strongly preferred.<br \/>\nAbility to apply specialized education and experience within a community services and nonprofit operational context.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&lt;&lt;&lt;&lt;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Employment Type: [Full-time \/ Non-Exempt]<br \/>\nAbout the Organization<br \/>\nSouth-East Asia Center (SEAC) is a vibrant full-service not-for-profit community organization well-known for its high-quality social service, senior services, and early education and care education.
