The Golden Diners Program offers older adults (60 years of age and older) and their spouses of any age, an opportunity to have a healthy, nutritious meal each day while enjoying the company of friends. \u00a0This hot lunch program provides seniors a needed opportunity to get out and\u00a0 enjoy a little walk and some brief social interaction while getting a healthy and nutritious meal.<\/p>\n

We also offer special holiday and celebration meals<\/a> as well as an opportunity for seniors to join in on special activities.<\/p>\n

The program also gives South-East Asia Center staff a chance to do wellness checks to see how patrons are faring. We have gotten to know many of the people who attend our senior services programs, so if we don’t see someone for a few days we might give them a call or see if other patrons have heard from them. This is a community organization, and we are very interested in the welfare of our seniors.<\/p>\n

Golden Diners is available to seniors 60 years and older as well as spouses of any age. Seniors pay a donation of their choice. Meals are homemade style Vietnamese and Cantonese Chinese dishes, often including soups and congee.
