The Chicago Department of Public Health together with staff from Jewel-Osco and volunteers from South-East Asia Center conducted no-cost vaccine event to those without insurance, providing various immunizations Friday, September 26, 2025 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at South-East Asia Center, 5120 N. Broadway Ave. Chicago.
A representative from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois was on hand to provide healthcare information and distribute some pocket sized emergency kits and tissues.
One hundred adults and seniors received flu and COVID vaccines. Many seniors also received RSV and Shingles shots.
