School-Age After-School & Full Day Program

South-East Asia Center’s – Bridge International School, school-age child care program, for ages five through twelve, meets after school and on full days during most school holidays and during summer vacation.

On school days students are picked up after school at McCutcheon, St. Thomas and Goudy schools at parent’s request. The priority of the after-school program is to assist children with homework.

Children receive a dietician-approved snack. After homework is complete they are provided an opportunity to browse through classroom libraries, work on computers, or play educational games.

On full days, children take full advantage of the opportunity to explore museums, nature areas, lakefront parks, libraries, conservatories, and points of interest inside and out of the community. Students receive a dietician certified, full breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack.

Teachers are certified by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and hold at least a B.A. degree which includes courses in education or learning methods.

Enroll your child today. There is paperwork which must be completed before your child may begin classes. Low fees are set and subsidized by the Illinois Department of Human Services, based upon parent’s level of income.
