Rent Help Due to Covid 19

Help with rent. The Uptown Church Immigrant and Refugee Rental Relief Fund is here to help immigrants and refugees in the Uptown neighborhood who have financial trouble due the coronavirus outbreak.

A one-time cash grant up to $500 to help with rent will be awarded to eligible applicants through a lottery system until the fund is depleted.

To be considered you must…
1) Live within the boundaries of Uptown as defined by the City of Chicago.
2) Have been born outside of the United States of America and identify as an immigrant, refugee, or undocumented worker.
3) Have lost your job loss or had your wages cut due to the COVID-19 crisis.
4) Be over 18 years old.

If eligible you will be contacted with next steps. Applicants do not need a bank account to apply.
